PPA
We provide tailored PPA sessions to meet the needs of the PPA National Curriculum. That focuses on key targets/outcomes and incorporates the following:
• Schemes of work and lesson plans based on the National Curriculum.
• Support teachers to share lesson plans and ideas.
• Reports and assessments on every child.
• Based upon the Primary School Physical Literacy Framework.
• Creating participation pathways inclusive of all young people.
• We reinforce the importance of being physically active, as well as introducing basic leadership opportunities and social interaction.
We aim to develop physical literacy in all children by developing their skills, confidence, and love of movement to be and stay physically active for life. Our sessions increase Physical literacy through various structured and unstructured activities. The nature of these activities changes as children increase in age and ability. Fundamental movement skills (FMS) are the basic movements traditionally associated with human physical activity. The most common FMS include skills such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, skipping, and hopping.
We understand the elements of fundamental movement skills and long-term athletic development. This combined with our drive for academic achievement makes our sports provision one of a kind.
PPA. provision to extracurricular after-school clubs and cross-curricular education is delivered by an experienced and qualified Ballers PPA Specialist. Coaches who work with school staff to challenge and reward pupils. We are delighted to offer official partner schools one-of-a-kind experiences and rewards and donations to a charity of their choice.
